The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc engaged a+LiNK Architecture for the master planning, programming, design, and construction documentation of a new fire station.The 15,000 SF station will be street-facing, providing immediate emergency access and parking. It will be the first purpose-built station for the municipality, facilitating the transition from a 100% volunteer fire department to a combination of full-time staff and volunteers by 2025. The design features green elements, including green roof canopies, solar panels, and energy recovery.
