a+LiNK Architecture was retained by Hillside Church to provide architectural design services for the adaptive reuse of an existing bowling alley in London, Ontario. The design of the new church site includes a central auditorium for worship services as well as children’s ministry spaces, church offices, and a café at the front of the building. The design also includes a new entrance at the side of the building for simplified accessibility. The adaptive reuse project provides a revitalized neighbourhood hub for both the congregation and the surrounding community.
