a+LiNK Architecture partnered with MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects of Toronto as the local Associate Architect for the new East Community Centre in London, Ontario located in the existing East Lions Park. The 45,000 SF facility includes indoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, multi-purpose programming space, a community kitchen, an artisan space, and recreation / sports courts. The building has been designed to take advantage of views to the East Lions Park, situated on the west side of the site. The facility provides opportunity for new programs and services to become a community social hub in the Argyle neighbourhood.
